Tea

Hard as I try, I cannot make straight lines. All of my drawings are a little "off." And I tend to use very little color. I am trying to embrace my inner funkiness, but Illustrator is very tempting!

A quick drawing while paint dries-

I have sung this song in many places-church, school, and at protests and everytime it affects me. I am amazed that we continue to find ways that seperate ourselves from others rather than finding our common bond. Watch a group of people sing this song and it is amazing how all differences seem to disappear, at least for a few minutes.

Simple

This is my first attempt at posting for Illustration Friday-a toy chest that I designed for a small wonder. This is the back-the idea was to give her simple images that would hopefully lead her to use her imagination to fill in the blank spots!
